It is a great pleasure to congratulate Dr. Eugene Choi on graduating with her PhD this week. Her thesis is entitled "Exploring the phase diagram of metastable water, no-man's land, and clouds." Eugene has been the lead digital content writer for WiN since its inception. She reads every paper that she posts about, and then summarizes them in a way in which our audience would like to hear them. It's a rare skill.

Eugene also won Cornell's Chemical Engineering department's highest prize for research, the 2015 Austin Hooey award for thesis excellence. This award is named for a pioneering woman in finance who endowed both the Directorship in Chemical Engineering and the Deanship of the Vet School at Cornell.
Eugene is now off to Paris to pursue a post-doctoral experience. Congratulations, Eugene, and Bon Chance.
