L'Oreal and UNESCO are looking for a few good women in science

Beauty product giant L’Oréal and UNESCO are continuing their highly successful "For Women in Science" program which rewards the contributions of women in STEM fields and identifies incredible role models for younger women in science to emulate. Over 2000 women scientists in over 110 countries have been recognized since the program began in 1998.


In the US, the "For Women In Science" fellowship program make five awards in a broad range of fields from the life and physical/material sciences to technology (including computer science), engineering, and mathematics (more here). Applications are due on Friday, February 5, 2016.
